ION Studio is a sustainable hair salon in New York City, owned by celebrated editorial hairstylists Marco Santini and Leonardo Manetti, whose hairstyles are featured on the runways, in countless high fashion magazines, and in major advertising campaigns. Our mission is to provide fashion-forward hair styles, cuts and colors through environmentally sustainable methods.
The design of our salon is simplistic and unique, including furniture that is custom-made from recycled materials. 100% of the energy we use is sustainable - meaning every dollar spent is invested into making more green energy. We use a variety of products with eco-friendly philosophies, with many containing no parabens or sulfates. This ensures high-quality products that are gentle on your hair.
Our carefully selected staff is trained to provide top-notch service without being wasteful: we recycle, reuse, and limit our overall energy use. Our love of beauty is the driving force behind ION Studio, and we strive to help our clients transform their styles while showcasing the benefits of conscious hair care. Our staff completes a rigorous and ongoing education program. From learning how to style hair fit for top models on the runways, to utilizing appropriate tools for every hair type, our staff holds themselves to a higher standard.
