The fitbit really is a great motivator. When I got over the shock of how few steps I was walking each day, I did start walking more steps in my day by parking further from the store when shopping, taking stairs instead of elevator and spending a few minutes on the treadmill. I'm not up to the goal of 10,000 steps daily but I am getting closer.
