When you win this item you will receive one month of weekly violin or viola lessons at Rachel's string studio, located in Ossining, NY. Gift certificate expires 7/31/15.
Violinist Rachel Alexander is a graduate of the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, where she studied with Laurie Smukler and Calvin Wiersma. Rachel also holds her MA in Music Education(K-12) from Hunter College.
Her professional performance career includes performances throughout the Tri-State and Greater New York areas in such venues as Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, the Pepsico Performing Arts Center and the Eastman School of Music. Rachel has participated in the Wall to Wall: Stravinsky concert held at Symphony Space, NY, NY. She can also be heard on movie soundtracks and recordings of several rock bands and singer/songwriters. Rachel is the cofounder of The Mantis Concert Series, located in Briarcliff Manor, NY.
Rachel is currently on faculty at the Larchmont Music Academy and is the founder of the "Rachel Alexander Private String Studio", located in Ossining, NY

PICK-UP: Item will be available for pick up at the Ossining Public Library (53 Croton Avenue) on Saturday, May 16th from 2:00pm-4:00pm and Wednesday, May 20th from 7:00-8:30 PM. If item needs to be shipped, actual shipping charges may be paid by the winning bidder.
