Item Description
Dr. Ken Williams of Moab Family Medicine and Moab Regional Hospital are partnering to offer one colonoscopy to the winning bidder!
Colon Cancer is the second most deadly cancer, but it doesn’t need to be. A colonoscopy can help find precancerous polyps so they can be removed before they turn into cancer. Dr. Ken Williams of Moab Family Medicine and Moab Regional Hospital, are teaming up to offer a gift certificate for a screening colonoscopy. The recipient of this gift certificate will need to contact Moab Family Medicine to make arrangements between their primary care provider and Dr. Ken Williams for pre-colonoscopy exam and preparation.
Please note: this gift certificate is for a screening colonoscopy. If abnormalities are discovered during the colonoscopy that requires additional diagnosis, testing fees for pathology will be billed to you from the laboratory the tissue is sent to.
Colonoscopies are now covered as a screening procedure under most insurance plans. If you have insurance, even high deductible insurance, please check with your insurance company to see if your policy might cover a colonoscopy before bidding on this item.

Additional info: Colonoscopy is a test that allows your doctor to look at the inner lining of your large intestine. The physician uses a thin, flexible tube called a colonoscope to look at the colon. A colonoscopy helps find ulcers, colon polyps, tumors, and areas of inflammation or bleeding. During a colonoscopy, tissue samples can be collected for biopsy and abnormal growths can be taken out. Colonoscopy can also be used as a screening test to check for cancer or precancerous growths in the colon or rectum (polyps).
