We love using our 18 and 24 oz cotton canvas fabrics we use for our totes and storage and making them into family-friendly floor cushions for any casual room in the home. Perfect for kids rooms, family rooms, and for just laying around watching movies with friends. All floor cushions come in 26 x 26 and are filled with 95/5 feather down cushion.
Hable Construction is a surface design company that creates from artwork painted and drawn in our studio. Our totes and accessories are proudly made in the USA! We specialize in a fresh, contemporary aesthetic that is inspiring with lots of color. This online shop offers wonderful accents for the home including handprinted pillows, storage items, and totes as well as creative projects and finds.

Sisters Susan Hable Smith and Katharine Hable Sweeney founded the NYC-based textiles company Hable Construction in 1999. Named after their Texan great-grandfather’s 20th century road construction business, this new generation merged their expertise and talent to create distinctive and functional products for everyday living. Paving roads of a different sort, the Hable sisters have entered the 21st century as leaders in textile design while expanding their studio to create floor coverings, fine art, and custom work.
Katharine is the born sales professional and Susan is the artist. Together they combine practicality, sophistication, and timelessness into all of their work. Operating on the belief that the layering of color, texture, and form inspires, Hable Construction creates bold and graphic designs dubbed with colorful, hand-drawn patterns that have become the hallmark of their aesthetic. All Hable products are created by skilled artists and artisans, employing traditional screen-printing procedures for their fabrics in an old New England factory as well as utilizing a North Carolina factory that has created rugs for generations.
More than a decade after their inception, Hable Construction continues to grow. Today the company produces fabric and rug lines, fine art, has representation in interior design showrooms worldwide, enjoys international product distribution, and operates an online shop.
