Item Description
Professional development helps to ensure that our teachers continue to strengthen their practice throughout their career, and helps to create a culture of learning throughout the school. We want to encourage every staff member to engage in professional development, but we need help having the resources to support them doing so.
Your $1000 Donation...
- Registers a staff person for the National Association of Independent Schools Conference
- Allows an Elementary or Early Childhood Teacher to attend the American Montessori Society Annual Conference
- Certifies one teacher for a specific IB class at Rice University
- Enrolls a faculty member in one of the many content specific and best practice trainings available throughout the year, enabling them to better meet the needs of Khabele students on all three of our campuses.
Item Special Note
Gifts will be earmarked for professional development during the 2015-16 school year. With the funds available the school will decide how to best meet the needs of students and whom shall attend what workshops. The particular trainings referenced are simply an example of the many learning opportunities that are on our Director's wish lists for their staff.
