Item Description

You are bidding on a one-of-a-kind Ojo de Dios/God's Eye collection crafted by half of the 2nd Grade class beautifully displayed in a shadow box.

Using traditional methods, each Grade 2 student has woven an Ojo de Dios, or God's Eye, from hand dyed yarn and gathered sticks. WSP Grade 2 students have harvested the dye plants and school grown willow sticks for the project, and Grade 3 students dyed the wool.

Individual student work can be identified by student initials on a diagram on the back of each shadow box. (student initials: SS, AM, CB; FP, IM, LCA; BCT,  EP, SN; GJW, LC, and FM)

Ojo de Dios are made by many indigenous people of the Americas, often given in celebration or as a gift to bless a home.
