Item Description
Are you looking for just the right painting to put front and center in your living room? If so, you must bid on this gorgeous piece. "In the Distance" was created with golden open acrylics on mounted linen, is 16x9 inches and is framed.
Raised in the northern suburbs of New York City, Dennis began painting as a child. He graduated from the Webster University Theater Arts Conservatory in St. Louis with a BA in Scene Design and Theater Production in 1972. After his graduation, he continued his formal art training at the School of Visual Arts and the Arts Students League. He has also studied at the Westchester Arts Workshop, the Silvermine School of Art and the Boca Museum School of Art.
His work has been greatly influenced by the atmospheric qualities of Impressionist masters including: George Inness, Alfred Sisley and John Bond Francisco. F urther inspirations come from current landscape Impressionist artists including William McCarthy, David Dunlop and Gerhard Nesvadba.
Dennis' paintings have been displayed in juried art shows and his works are held in private collections throughout the United States. In 2011, seven of his paintings were selected to appear on ABC's 'Desperate Housewives.'
