Creating College Options’ goal is to take the stress out of a student’s college search and application process, and to provide college options where a students will not only survive, but thrive. Owner Shari Powell counsels high school juniors and seniors in their college selection and application process, and helps them think about how to tie their essays together to show passion and direction.
Prior to forming Creating College Options, Shari worked at Princeton University as an outside admissions reader and as an alumni interviewer for Tufts University. Shari holds an MBA in Market Research from the Wharton School, and has years of professional experience in Marketing and Market Research. She utilizes both of these skills to create a great school list and develop a unique profile for her clients.
Shari has raised two young adults who are now proud college graduates. Her goal is to create great college options for all of her students!
