Item Description

ONE MONTH SESSION AT BEAM SUMMER CAMP 2016 (next year!)

The Beam Project is the centerpiece of each Beam session. Its an ongoing demonstration that a good plan, perseverance and a skillful crew can bring the biggest schemes to life. It serves as inspiration for the campers to formulate their own plots, plans and projects.

Every summer we do and build something never done or built before. Beam commissions a different distinguished artist, architect or general big thinker as Project Master to conceive each camp sessions Project. They design it, Beam Campers and Staff work together to make it happen.

Testimonials from BSI Families:

BEAM is a welcoming and creative community, in a beautiful spot on a classic New England lake. When I picked my daughter up, we traversed the grounds, seeing the amazing artwork the campers created, watching her hug dozens of fast friends and supporting counselors, and feeling impressed with her ease and independence as part of the BEAM community. It was a stellar experience for her--and for dozens of kids every summer. Five stars! or six!

Beam is a great camp for anyone who is interested in adventure. I went for the first time right after 2nd grade and collaborated to build three elemental monsters. Every year I have gone has been even more amazing than the previous. This coming session is my 3rd summer going to Beam and I know it will be just as, if not more, amazing than the previous years.
Have fun at Beam!
Peace,
Skye, 6th grader and current BEAM camper

My daughter is going to BEAM for her 3rd time this summer. It's truly a place that lets kids thrive and grow and build cool things. The setting is beautiful and the people are interesting. I was most recently reminded of it's awesomeness when my daughter was helping us build a raised bed. She confidently took charge of the power screwdriver, and actually taught us valuable tips on how to build it. In today's world, this kind of experience is very valuable.
