Item Description
Dinner for 4
There are not too may little finds in the Canfield environs, but Trattoria Bella Roma S.P.Q.R. is definitely one. Located on the corner of Robertson and Cashio, Bella Roma boasts rustic Italian cuisine in a casual, yet chic space. They feature fresh handmade pastas with the tagliatelle being the freshest as this ribbon-like noodle is rolled and cut only upon ordering! The soft consistency of the dough allows the paired sauce to “soak” in. The also specialize in wood-fired pizzas like the “Francesca” loaded with ricotta cheese, diced chicken, & minced garlic and their best selling "Roman Potato" which is Chef Amico’s favorite pizza from his youth in Rome. This “white“ (sauceless), thin pie of mozzarella, sliced Idaho potatoes, garlic, rosemary and parsley is uniquely delicious. Pair these with their abundant salads, soups and entree selections and your are in for a great meal.
For this dinner, you will get an appetizer to share, Insalate Mista, choice of entrees and coffee to keep the party going.
And I know you've always wondered what the initials S.P.Q.R. stand for as you've passed by countless times...well, S.P.Q.R. is an acronym from a Latin phrase, SenÄÂ?tus Populusque RÅÂ?mÄÂ?nus referring to the government of the ancient Roman Republic ...not as exciting as you might have wanted, but there you have it.
