FASRI is a city school, using local neighborhood amenities such as local parks,

swimming pools, and other sports facilities. We have has long wanted to create a space

for our younger students closer by our building, a place for them to learn and play

outdoors, without the need to go to the park every time. We have a plan to develop the

small space at the back of behind the building in which maternelle (Preschool through

Kindergarten PS through K) students could spend time outside, using play equipment to

developing gross motor skills, coordination, teamwork. We will need to fence off this

small space, install a storage shed, and purchase equipment such as tricycles, scooters,

balls, and obstacle course items. Estimated cost: $5,000

Technology is built into the FASRI curriculum, enabling students to learn better and

allowing them to apply technology in everyday learning situations. Our students (middle

school and upper elementary) need new laptops to replace our old equipment and

increase the number of machines available to the kids. Estimated cost: $12,500
