Item Description
What’s black and tan and chocolate and golden? This beautiful 60" x 76" handmade quilt! Crafted especially for The Seeing Eye by a Monmouth County puppy raiser and ribbon-winning quilter, the design on the face of the quilt is squares and triangles in shades of red, beige, brown, grey, and tan. The 8" border is a black print of puppies in full color with small squares of “puppy philosophy", including The Seeing Eye motto “Independence and Dignity" interspersed. The backing fabric is printed with puppy paws, bones, and hearts and edged with black binding. The machine quilting is a strong all-over pattern which will withstand practical use as a warm cover as well as many decorative possibilities.
This beautiful hand-made quilt was made by a puppy raiser in Monmouth who is an award winning 15-year member of her local quilt guild.
Item Special Note
