When he is not working as a Teaching Artist at UCAL Hunter Stabler is taking the art of paper-cutting to a whole new level. With a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, Hunter uses multicultural religiously based and cymatic patterns to construct images of mystical creatures, subtle invisible phenomena, theoretical shapes of the universe, and microcosmic vibratory events. The formal aspects of his work involve a play between the illusion of space, actual physical space, and the two- dimensionality of the paper.
Hunter has shown his work nationally with recent solo exhibitions at Pentimeti Gallery and Pageant Soloveev.

Framed with plexi so take care not to clean with windex or paper towels.
