Item Description
Wood-burned (pyrography) necklace depicting a surfer at sunset and pair of earrings depicting tropical flowers.
Unique handmade jewelry using pyrography and color pencil on wood. Each piece starts by being sanded to a silky smooth finish, the artwork is then transferred onto the wood with graphite paper and the design is burned using a handheld pyrography tool. The designer adds color using oil-based pencils either in the form of a vibrant background or small details to enhance the artwork. Pieces are protected with an acrylic sealer followed with a lacquer finish. Fittings and/or clasps are added to turn the piece into a necklace, pin, key chain etc.
