The Science Behind Birds and Climate Change
This is a unique opportunity for 15-20 students to have lunch at Audubon's New York headquarters with Chief of Science Gary Langham and to engage in a discussion about the science behind birds and climate change. Using decades of bird data and GIS data-mapping techniques, Audubon has found that 314 species of birds in North American are in danger of extinction due to changes in their habitat caused by climate change.
Audubon will provide sandwiches, cookies, beverages.
