Enjoy a restorative week in July 2015 in a historic cottage in the quaint town of Truro, MA, on Cape Cod.

The cottage, located on Castle Road, is an old sea captain's cottage built ca. 1800. It has been remodeled, but retains the charm of an historic house. Situated in a very peaceful spot on the bank of the Pamet River, a tidal river in which you can swim, canoe, or kayak (one canoe and two kayaks are available for your use) when the tide is up, or walk along and explore when the tide is low. The cottage is conveniently located between two beaches: the Bay beach (Corn Hill) is .8 miles away; the ocean beach (Ballston) is three miles. Truro and its neighboring Wellfleet and Provincetown have miles and miles of protected National Seashore land.

The house has two bedrooms on the second floor (king bed and two twins) and two bedrooms on the first floor (queen bed and two twins). Two families would be comfortable sharing the house. There's a lovely screened-in porch that provides a beautiful view down the Pamet River toward the Bay. A modern, spacious galley kitchen with an electric stove that opens onto a dining room/sitting room area with a dining room at one end that comfortably seats eight, and a cozy seating area at the other end. To warm you up on chilly Cape nights there is a working fireplace in the living room. Includes a washer/dryer.

Available for one mutually agreed-upon week between June 29, 2015 - July 31, 2015.
