Fifth Grade Ball Project (5N) - Mrs Ngo
First, the fabulous and indispensable Peter Moyer took beautiful individual head shots of the kids. Next, we gave the kids a questionnaire, and used their telling, and often funny answers to create the portraits. Much like pointillism, you will be able to easily see the kids' faces from about a foot back, and as you get closer, you will see that the image is made up of words reflecting their hopes, loves, and dreams.We hope that you will enjoy this moment of time captured in these beautiful, cool portraits for years to come.The lucky winner of this auction will receive a framed 24x36 collage of the entire class, and their own child's portrait blown up to any size up to 20x24, as you see in the example shown here. Each child got to choose their favorite color as the backdrop for their portrait, but if you would like us to tweak the color to better match the design of your home, we can do that for you.
Item Special Note
Important Information regarding bidding for this year's Ball Projects:
The Class Projects will be presented during Elementary Chapel on Monday, May 4th. Immediately following the Class Projects Chapel, the projects will be displayed in Carsey Gallery. The display will run until close of business Thursday, May 7th.
The bidding on the class projects will be different this year. Although photos and descriptions are on Bidding for Good, all the actual bidding for class projects will be via sealed bid. Bidding will open when the projects are displayed in Carsey Gallery on Monday, May 4th. There will be bid forms and a lockbox provided in Carsey Gallery in which to place the bids. On Friday, May 8th, we will take the projects and the lockbox to the Ball. We will display the projects at the Ball, and people may continue to submit their sealed bids into the lockbox(es) provided. We will close the bidding at the Ball, tally the results, and announce the "winners" at the Ball. Winner need not be present.
Minimum sealed bid is $250.
