Item Description
Phillies left-hander drafted out of high school in the 1st round of the draft (17th overall) by the Phillies. Hamels was the top pitcher on the team entering the '08 season, and diuring their postseason run that year, during which they ultimately won the 2008 World Series, Hamels won the World Series MVP award. Since then he has been a top starter in the Phillies' rotation. Hamels has a career won lost record of 108-84, with an era of 3.28.
