This package includes two adult/child 30 minute Piano Lessons from Ms. Lena, who is located down the block from the Spruce Street School.

Take a break to learn piano from one of the best! The story of the piano begins in Padua, Italy in 1709, in the shop of a harpsichord maker named Bartolomeo di Francesco Cristofori (1655-1731).

Many other stringed and keyboard instruments preceded the piano and led to the development of the instrument as we know it today. Mankinds knowledge that a taut, vibrating string can produce sound goes back to prehistoric times. In the ancient world, strings were attached and stretched over bows, gourds, and boxes to amplify the sound; they were fastened by ties, pegs and pins; and they were plucked, bowed or struck to produce sounds.

So, do yourself a favor and add a little fun to your life by getting into the piano with lessons from a fantastic teacher! Ms Lena can teach children and adults, ages 5+.

In 1996, more than 15 years ago, I started teaching piano and have enjoyed sharing my love of music with others. I am very patient with students and enjoy all types of music. I can teach you anything from pop music to classical, beginner to advanced, as long as you're willing to learn! If there is a specific piece you want to play, I can fit it to your level.
