This package includes four daytime ticket vouchers for Estate Admission at George Washington's Mount Vernon. Mount Vernon was the home of George and Martha Washington from the time of their marriage in 1759 until the time of their deaths in 1799 and 1802, respectively. Despite long absences for military and public service, Washington diligently expanded his plantation from 2000 to 8000 acres and the Mansion house from six rooms to twenty-one. Also, enjoy lunch in charming Old Town Alexandria at the famed Rocklands Barbeque. The certificate entitles the bearer to a meal valued at $100. Rocklands has been serving wood-only barbeque to loyal DC-area fans since 1990. Rocklands uses red oak and hickory - never gas or electricity - to cook meat, fish, and poultry. Rocklands is also one of Huffington Posts' Top 20 rated barbeque restaurants in America.
