This magnum of 2011 Eric Kent Wine Cellars Stiling Vineyard Pinot Noir offers layers of ripe, generous fruit intertwined with accents of smoke, cola and baking spices. It’s as gorgeous as ever, yet with more verve and elegance than warmer vintages such as ‘09 and ‘10.
Every year Stiling Vineyard in Sebastopol produces a spicy and deliciously fruit-forward Pinot that proves a popular favorite. Stiling’s well-drained Goldridge soils and prime central Russian River Valley location allow for optimal ripening, even in the cooler vintages like 2011.
