Nacogdoches celebrity Brad Maule lived the Hollywood life for 22 years. He starred on ABC's "General Hospital" as Dr. Tony Jones and four years as Ashlee Simpson's dad on WB Network's "7th Heaven." He is excited to be teaching at SFA in both the School of Theatre and Film Department.
Brad received the Dramalogue Award for West Coast Premiere of Sondheim's "Marry Me a Little"; Best Supporting Actor Emmy Nomination, 1996; Best Actor Emmy Nomination, 1997; Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Supporting Actor; and outstanding Alumnus, Stephen F. State University, 2006.
Brad graduated cum laude with a B.F.A. in theater and English. He grew up on a farm in rural west Texas. His theatre credits include Billy Barnes' musical revue, Movie Star. He then played Hamlet in Somethin's Rockin' in Denmark. Maule's television credits include guest starring roles in "The White Shadow" (1978), "Three's Company" (1976), "Too Close for Comfort" (1980), and "Charlie's Angels" (1976). He also appeared on the ABC miniseries Malibu (1983) (TV).  His  current signature piece is portraying a shotgun-toting, zombie-shooting redneck in the 2012 film, “Christmas with the Dead.”

Maule wrote and performed songs before he became an actor. He worked as backup singer for Bobbie Gentry, Jim Nabors, and Don Ho, among others, and has released a couple of albums
