Item Description
"Clouded Leopard Labyrinth" by artist Dr. Leslie Johnston is a mixed media installation in which each painting is composed of multiple layers of acrylic paint, capturing a sense of the denseness of the rainforest. The Labyrinth section of the installation invites guests to experience walking through a Southeast Asia rainforest to seek the elusive clouded leopard. Paintings primarily in greens with splashes of color become the rain forest as they enclose the space with color, including this painting, which is accented with original clouded leopard paw prints. Abstract representations of the clouded leopards become an additional element in this installation. Dr. Leslie Johnston dedicated this series to late Dr. JoGayle Howard. This piece measures 38"x30" framed.
