Item Description

From American Folk Artist Vestie Davis, this numbered (108 of 300) and signed (in 1976) serigraph titled, "Hasidic Street Scene", depicts American culture at its best .  (23.5" x 40.75). Unframed.

Discovered by a collector,  the self taught artist, Vestie Davis (1903-1978), was featured at the Museum of American Folk Art.   The New York of Vestie Davis is a bright, sparkling place with impressive and diverse landmark buildings, bridges, parks, and beaches. It is a hub of civic, business, and recreational activity chronicled in meticulously detailed pictures from the 1950s through the 1970s.

If the winner is a member of the Los Encinos School community, no shipping charge will be assessed, and the winner may pick the item up at Los Encinos School once a distribution day is announced (approx 5 days after the auction closes and payments are processed).

For other winning bidders, a shipping charge of $8.00 will be added to the winning bid for this item.  The item will be shipped by USPS or UPS with tracking once the auction is closed and payment has been processed.  (If one bidder wins multiple items, we will attempt to consolidate shipping and reduce charges.  Based on size, shape and packaging of some items, this may not always be possible.
