DONATE TO HELP FUND THE SCIENCE AND NATURE PROGRAMS AT OSSINING SCHOOLS!

Item Special Note

This fund aims to promote grants that connect our students to the natural world.  Students gain an appreciation for natural resources through hands-on engagement with nature, which then translates into a sense of responsibility.

 

Our educators have the opportunity to create environmental stewards; to deepen students’ connections to the natural history that is an integral part of Ossining's heritage, from the headwaters of the mighty Hudson to our very own western banks of the river.

 

When you donate, you make possible grants such as: Tales of the Hudson (which introduces Park School students and families to the Hudson River through stories, games and hands on experiences) and Camping at OHS (which takes students camping, many for the first time, providing experiences that build their vision of the world and themselves). 

 

This funding will give students across all grade levels experiential learning opportunities that will strengthen their academic pursuits and their humanity.

 

• Pebble $50 (Could purchase a lantern for a camping student to light their way at night) 
• Tree $125 (May purchase a cooking stove for making dinner)
• Mountain $500 (Could fund three story tellers and a spring time of stories)
• Vista $1,000 (Could provide five tents to shelter our students when they camp out at night)
