This is a privately signed baseball bat from star catcher Mike Piazza!
Michael Joseph Piazza (born September 4, 1968) played for the Florida Marlins, San Diego Padres, Oakland Athletics, and the LA Dodgers, with whom he was named the National League Rookie of the Year.
A 12-time All-Star, Piazza has been described as the best offensive catcher of all time, and holds the career record for home runs hit by a catcher, with a total of 427. Piazza has a career slash line of .308/.377/.545, for a wRC+ of 140; and started 1606 games at catcher. He had at least one RBI in 15 consecutive games for the New York Mets in 2000, the second-longest RBI streak ever.
