Item Description

Gorgeous Enamel Bowl created and hand-crafted by James Levitz of the Kiln Design Studio of Williamsburg Brooklyn, NYC.  The exterior is black and the interior is cobalt blue with a copper trim.  (3” in diameter). Signed by artist.

Kiln Design Studio specializes in Copper and Enamel - specifically tableware, sculpture and mobiles.

Each piece is hand made in traditions that can be traced back to the tenth-century Byzantine Empire, and popularized in the American Art Deco scene.

These award winning pieces have been featured in the San Francisco MOMA, Art Institute of Chicago, Metropolitan Museum of Art Tokyo and The Smithsonian. They have designed for Takashimaya, Bergdorf Goodman, Calvin Klein, Kate Spade, Waterworks and Barneys, and their pieces have also been featured in The New York Times, Elle Decor, Vogue, and InStyle magazine among countless other publications.
