Enjoy a long weekend or a mid-week getaway nestled in the mountains of Shrewsbury, Vermont. This Comtois Hill house is spacious and airy with many living areas, comfortable bedrooms, an excellent kitchen, an enormous deck—and killer views!
The gorgeous getaway home features 4 bedrooms and 2 dens to sleep up to 12 people. There are 3 large living areas: a great room with two wood fireplaces and the dining table, a TV room with a couch big enough for the whole family, and a game room for playing music or games. The kitchen is well equipped with a Thermador 6-burner range, wall oven, outdoor gas and charcoal grills, two dishwashers, plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and glasses, and a well-stocked pantry. The deck is great for relaxing in the sun and eating outside and enjoying the view. This beautiful home sits on an 8-acre property which is great for hiking and snowshoeing.
Shrewsbury is a small mountain town with many old farms and a great general store. In the warmer months, lakes in the valley are great for swimming and boating, and access to the Appalachian Trail is only 5 minutes from the house. In the wintertime, the skiing can’t be beat—Okemo is just 20 minutes away and Killington is just 35. Nearby Rutland has the best farmers market in Vermont on Saturday mornings all year, and there are great restaurants in Ludlow and Rutland. Come relax and enjoy!

The Fine Print
No smoking and no pets allowed. Restrictions and blackout dates may apply. A 4-wheel drive car is recommended in the winter to handle the dirt roads and steep driveway. Rutland regional airport is 10 minutes away with daily flights to Boston and the Amtrak station in Rutland has daily service to Albany and NYC. Expires 5/11/2016.
