Item Description

Do you know what to do if you come upon someone who is injured or unconscious? What if a friend or family member starts choking? Knowing First Aid and CPR are important life skills everyone should have, and here's an opportunity for you to learn how! For 14 years Lee Keenan has taught CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), Automated Electronic Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid courses, and has generously donated his services. The winning bidder will receive one 8-hour BLS/AED/First Aid certification class taught to up to six participants. You decide which friends, family members, work colleagues, neighbors etc will join you. On a mutually agreeable date, Lee will come to your home/office/church or other meeting place to conduct the class, providing mannequins and other course materials. Each participant who successfully passes the course will receive BLS certification cards by the American Heart Association which are valid for two years. Participants should be ages 14+ and be physically capable of getting down on the floor and doing chest compressions. Course must be conducted by 12/31/15 and be held in the East Bay.
