Celebrate a Birthday In City Fashion

Includes admission to the Playseum for 7 children and unlimited adults. During the first hour kids are encouraged to engage in free play throughout the real and pretend city shops. 

• Each child receives 4 Playseum dollars to spend in one or more of the "real play" city shops. Paint something in the art studio, whip-up something in the bakery, create something at the be-hive bar or buy something in the gift shop area. 
• One hour after party begins the kids are gathered by a staff person for a themed story time. Let us know your child's desired theme and we will make it happen through story time! This is not a private story time, but the theme and stories read will be all about your child.
• Following story time kids will go into the bakery for a private birthday celebration.  Each child receives their own cupcake to decorate with favorable toppings. Our baker staff handles the set-up, birthday song, candles, plates, napkins, clean-up and every child gets a glass of milk or water with their cupcake!  For an additional $20.00 we can have cupcakes and drinks available for the adults as well. Let us know upon booking if you would like us to add this on.

Get fresh New Haven style pizza right at home! $60 to spend at any of the four Pete's New Haven Style APizza restaurants, Friendship Heights, Columbia Heights, Silver Spring or Clarendon.

Pete’s New Haven Style Apizza is both a chef-driven Italian restaurant specializing in New Haven style pizza, and your neighborhood pizza & beer joint. They take as much pride in being locally-owned and committed to the neighborhoods they’ve chosen for our stores as they do in our culinary pedigree and locally-sourced, all natural ingredients.

If pizza isn't your thing, Pete's even has a fresh take on pasta! Pete's knows that most pizza restaurants offer other dishes, including pasta. But does it have to be overboiled mush with day-old sauce?

They don’t think so.

They put as much care and attention into the preparation of our fresh pasta dishes as anything else on our menu. The pasta comes fresh from a local supplier, meaning it’s basically just FLOUR, EGGS and SALT. It’s refrigerated until it’s ready to be sauced for the customer. It gets dunked in boiling water for about 90 seconds, then it gets plated, sauced and garnished, and finally brought out to the customer, perfectly al dente.
