Item Description
Tap Room No. 307, "Craft Beer Emporium," stands out as a solid craft beer bar/restaurant in the Gramercy area of Manhattan. The long, dark wood bar boasts 40 beers on tap, all small-batch brews, among them Union Jack IPA and Southampton Double White. The taps are constantly rotating, so disregard the menu and trust the large chalkboard above the bar that charts current available brews (ranging from $7-$10) with brand, type, and ABV. Elevated banquettes, communal tables and flat- screen TVs give it a sleek sports bar feel, but craft beer labels decorate the wall. They also offer over 40 bottled beers and wine and a full bar. The food is standard American fare, featuring big salads ($9-11), mac & cheese ($12) and pizzas ($11-14) for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, with a pretty sweet happy-hour deal of 10 wings for $5.
