Item Description
Here is a description of this delightful framed photograph by the photographer - Kestrel Naturalist and Education Coordinator - Clayton Kern:
My Spring Break trip of 2007 to the Florida Keys presented many spectacular images. This particular photo was during an extremely low tide off of Long Key. A tide of which this Great Egret was taking full advantage of, repeatedly hopping around grabbing all the tasty marine creatures he could find.
Great Egrets are one of our favorite birds - did you know that at dusk you can see them migrating to roost at Kettle Island in Magnolia? Visit the Trustees of Reservations Coolidge property, and walk down to the beach for an incredible experience watching hundreds of birds fly in for the night!
This framed photo is 11" x 17".
