ABOUT SUMMER CAMP AT CAMP HERRLICH

Program
Our summer camp program is designed to provide campers with opportunities to make friends, have fun, and develop a sense of cooperation and independence. Camp Herrlich?s 156 acres offers your child(ren) a wealth of enriching experiences with a variety of activities. It encompasses two lakes, fields, streams, swamp and forest crossed with hiking trails. Campers will embrace the great outdoors and learn to appreciate and respect all aspects of camp life. There is also time for prayer, growth, competition, education, campfires, songs, theme days and special events.

Mission
Our mission is to provide individuals the opportunity to grow in an awareness of themselves, the rich diversity of God?s natural world and their role in the global community. Our educational and recreational programs work towards developing ethnic harmony, environmental stewardship, community service and spiritual growth in an atmosphere of acceptance and love.

Staff
The most important aspect of any camp is the staff. At Camp Herrlich, we pride ourselves on our long-standing tradition of hiring caring, competent and experienced individuals. Our staff is carefully selected from all over the world and from our local community based on skills, maturity, values and ability to provide a positive experience for the children we service. All staff participates in a mandatory orientation at Camp Herrlich which provides training in areas ranging from emergency procedures to positive reinforcement for children.
