Up to eight guests will be whisked away to enjoy four nights to tour Marfa and the surrounding area based at the magnificent Maravillas Gap Ranch, located 20 miles south of Marathon in the breathtaking hills of West Texas. In Marfa you’ll be treated to a private tour of Donald Judd’s aluminum pieces in the artillery sheds by the director of the world-famous Chinati Foundation. Then travel to The University of Texas at Austin McDonald Observatory, near Fort Davis, where you will enjoy a two-night stay in the Director’s house, be hosted for a special behind- the-scenes tour of the observatory’s research telescopes, meet and hear from astronomers and be able to look at galaxies and stars that may be hundreds of millions of light years away.
