Join Molly Lyda, life coach & creator of "Intimacy 101: Create the Life You Really Want", for a weekly workshop that assists women in achieving personal goals & dreams through support, balance, and creativitiy.

Molly Lyda, MA, MFT

During her years in entertainment, Molly Lyda, MFT became intrigued by human interaction, personal empowerment, and the journey of self-discovery. From that experience, she realized that assisting others on their path of personal growth was her passion and that becoming a therapist and life coach was her true calling. Molly is honored to work in a profession that not only helps others heal on an emotional level but also helps them pursue and achieve their real hopes and dreams.

A unique specialty of Molly’s is her work with women, which she finds fulfilling and exciting. She helps them understand the internal balance of masculine and feminine energies and teaches them how to navigate and access both in everyday life. This has led many women to greatly improve their relationships with men in romantic situations, family settings, work environments, and out in the public sector.

Molly also includes this information in her workshops to empower women. These workshops help women connect with and appreciate their own femininity, find balance in their lives through working on a personal project, and learn how to invest in themselves through their own amazing gifts. As a result, her clients are stepping into the lives they truly desire with strength, purpose, and grace.

Currently Molly is in private practice in Sherman Oaks. She loves her work as a therapist and coach and enjoys creatively collaborating with clients, helping them to overcome obstacles and step into their preferred lives. In addition to Molly’s specialty with women, she works with individuals, families, and young adults. She helps her clients address low self-esteem, anger management issues, depression, and the myriad of challenges that are found in all relationships.

As a great speaker, Molly presents to groups and non-profit organizations on emotional and spiritual issues. Presenting and reaching out to these groups assists Molly in living out her purpose to effect change in others on a larger level. This includes leading retreats for both men and women, along with women’s monthly discussion groups in the greater Los Angeles area.

Molly adds to her professional development and visibility with her membership in the San Fernando Valley Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (SFV-CAMFT). She has been a member since 2006 and has served on the chapter Board of Directors for the last eight years. Molly continues her involvement on the board and recently completed a year as Chapter President.

In 2009, she was honored by SFV-CAMFT with the award for Pre-Licensed Member of the Year. She was also chosen Outstanding Leader in 2010 and 2013. Molly enjoys being active in the chapter and has found it to be a wonderful community of support throughout her professional journey.

Before becoming a therapist and coach, Molly had 13 years of success in the entertainment industry, primarily in television production. She is native to the Pacific Northwest, but now makes her home in Sherman Oaks, California.

As evidenced above, Molly is truly enthusiastic about the field of Marriage and Family Therapy and Coaching. She is touched and fulfilled by the work with her clients and enjoys making a difference in their lives.
