Item Special Note

On the back it reads: "Tim Cox was born in Arizona in 1957 and grew up in the small farming and ranching community of Duncan, near the New Mexico line. When only five years old, Tim vowed he "was gonna be a cowboy artist" when he grew up.  While most of his time is consumed by painting, Tim continues to raise cattle and train his horses. He also finds the time to coach young riders who compete in cutting competitions and other competitive horse events.  Tim participates annually in the Governor's Invitational Art Show and Sale at Cheyenne Frontier Days. His work has been chosen for the show's limited edition print two times and for their Museum Purchase Award an unprecedented three times. He was nominated in the fine arts category for the Academy of Western Artists' Will Rogers Cowboy Award in 1996 and 1997 and was the American Quarter Horse Associations World Show artist for 1997.  In June, 2000 Tim made his debut at the prestigious Prix de West Show at the Cowboy Hall of Fame. In July he was named to U.S. Art's Hall of Fame. Tim Cox is truly one of the great Western artists of our time."
