Come to beautiful New Zealand and experience first hand one of the lands down under!
Enjoy a 7-night, 8-day stay in this amazing, picturesque 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home located in the northeast of the South Island in the tranquil Portage Bay/Kenepuru Sounds/Marlborough Sounds area of New Zealand. The house comes fully furnished and equipped with towels, linens and some local Kiwi food and beverages in the kitchen cupboards. There is also a BBQ on the patio. Shuttle to and from the water taxi is included or you can rent a car from Picton if you prefer more freedom.
The master bedroom and large deck offers majestic views that overlook the Sounds. A small private secluded beach (shared by less than a dozen homes) is just a 100 yard walk from the house. The area is best explored on water, with a range of activities from chartering a fishing boat to kayaking and windsurfing, etc. at the nearby Debretts Backpackers (http://www.stayportage.co.nz/) which is also a great local place to hang out and grab a drink. Get active by swimming, diving or hiking the length of the world-renowned Queen Charlotte Track (just a short walk from the house) as it winds its way through native forest, along view filled ridges and beside idyllic coves.
Marlborough is also New Zealand’s largest wine growing region and the home of the globally acclaimed sauvignon blanc. Wine country is only about an hour away via water taxi.
