The Municipal Fire School is a premiere training event held each summer on the campus at the TEEX Brayton Fire Training Field in College Station, TX. For one week, fire prevention, suppression, control and safety personnel from municipalities, industries, state and federal agencies as well as the armed services attend this school to get extensive classroom and/or hands on training by highly qualified and experienced instructors. There are 34 courses offered in a variety of subject areas: Firefighting Phase I-V, Fire Inspector I & II, Transportation Emergencies, Leadership, Public Information Officer, Telecommunications, Public Information Officer, Rescue, Safety and more.

The winner bidder will receive one tuition to attend the fire school. A letter will be provided a week after the bidding closes with registration and course selection information.
SPECIAL NOTICE on the 2015 Municipal School - Fire Fighting Phase Program. Beginning in 2015, TEEX has changed its curriculum to align with the SFFMA and TCFP Certification Processes. This should be transparent to you.
PLEASE NOTE: The Fire Fighting Phase Courses are now taught to the NFPA 1001 Standard. Whether you are seeking certification or simply desire training in accordance to NFPA 1001 FF I and FF II, the process is the same.
The end of phase quiz is intended to measure the participant’s comprehension of the related subject matter. Your attendance and participation in the phase program will result in a "Certificate of Completion."
Item Special Note
- Winning bidder must be a National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) member (with membership dues current).
- If attending a live fire event, you must bring compliant bunker gear
- Transportation, hotel accommodations, & meals are not covered.
- There are 6 certificates available for bid. Bidders may bid, and win, on more than one.
- Bids final. Certificate can be transferrable with proper notification to TEEX-ESTI for any corrections prior to attendance. No returns or refunds.
- Certificate expires July 25, 2015.
