Item Description

This Mid-Century Danish Modern Teak Candle Holder features six individual hour-glass “Posts” with straight protruding “Beams”.  These individual units interconnect and create beautiful and functional structures that can stand alone or stack into an infinite number of compelling geometric configurations.  Create triangles, stars, and hexagons, and adjust the size, symmetry, and look to suit your creative impulses or practical needs.

Need a large, symmetrical hexagon of light to surround a stunning flower arrangement?  You got it.  Feeling a bit frazzled, and want a spoke-like starburst to embody your feeling of spinning out of control?  Done.  Want an hour of creative-time to regress to a Lincoln Log state of child-like creativity, and have a fantastic and functional end-product to show for it?  Go for it.  Have an occasional need for a Star of David, but were having trouble finding something tasteful and suitable for your MCM pad?  Bid away.

This piece is stunning in its simplicity and exquisite beauty.  Works with any décor, can match well with your Eames Lounge Chair, or offer a subtle, yet striking, contrast to your Art Deco or Chippendale Dining Set.

Item Special Note

Special Instructions

This item is in very good to excellent condition.  The teak wood is in perfect condition.  There may be a VERY small amount of wax is some of the “candle beds” that proved too hard to extract, and attempting so would damage the wood.  The posts measure 8 ¼” high, and the beams protrude 8” from the posts.  Final configuration dimensions will vary.  An isosceles triangle will have 9” sides.
