Item Description

This fantastic package includes barrel tasting with the wine maker, a tour and 3 bottles of wine.

Idle Cellars is a micro winery located in Sonoma County, California, specializing in small lot, vineyard designate varietals. They strive to produce elegantly balanced wine as equal in technical mastery, as grace of art. Their belief is that the essence of winemaking is "getting to know your grapes" ensuring the best of Sonoma makes it from the vine to the bottle through hands-on craftsmanship.

2012 Grenache, 1 bottle:

Fruit forward, perfumed aromatics dance with a myriad of spices to create a balanced wine with depth and a silky texture to keep the long palate finish on a leash. Like matching your socks to your shirt, the nose and palate are in a symbiotic relationship. This Grenache pairs well with game, birds, meats and earthy feasts during the fall and winter.

This gentle yet flavorful wine is a Silver Medal Winner of the 2015 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.

2010 Syrah, 1 bottle:

This is what happens when you barbecue exotic fruits covered in chocolate and tandoori spices. A deconstructed melting pot of foods from around the world. A Syrah with a gentle seductive grip. Layers of fruit and spice dance along the palate with expressions of black cherries, chocolate, ripe raspberry, and coffee. A 20% Grenache blend from the same vineyard softens the spices and keeps the bites to a nibble.

2013 Sauvignon Blanc, 1 bottle:

The perfect wine for summer. This crisp Sauvignon Blanc with hints of tropical fruit and citrus will cure your beach cravings.  Pair it with a nice fish or your favorite barbecue starters and enjoy your refreshing Idle moment.
