Item Description

Lessons to be scheduled according to student's and teacher's availability. Lessons to be held in student's home (if student has a piano/keyboard) or a NYC music studio to be reserved and paid for by the student. Valid until 9.15.15. Not valid 5-17-5/25.

Lauren-Rose is a NYC based classical vocalist, actress, and voice teacher. Most recently she traveled to the SongFest Program in Los Angeles where she was the recipient of a full tuition scholarship and a soloist in the tour: Songs in the Key of LA. In addition, she worked with and performed the repertoire of composers John Musto, Jake Heggie and Libby Larsen in concerts and masterclasses throughout the month of June. Lauren-Rose received her Masters in Opera Performance in 2013 from the Maryland Opera Studio. There she performed the roles Musetta/La Boheme and Queen of the Night/ Die Zauberflöte. Awards include National Finalist in the Classical Singer Competition, 1st place in Boston NATS Competition and 1st place in New England Conservatory Concerto Competition. Favorite roles include Yum-Yum/The Mikado, Johanna/Sweeney Todd, Soeur Constance/Les Dialogues Des Carmelites, Magnolia/Show Boat, Despina/Cosi fan tutte, among others. Currently, Lauren-Rose sings at Marble Collegiate Church in Manhattan and travels to Boston where she also sings with Boston Baroque. King received her Bachelors in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory, where she was the recipient of the Musical Theatre Scholarship.
