The lucky winner of this experience and a guest will enjoy dinner at Steve Julian’s home with Russ Parsons, Food Columnist for the LA Times, who will cook part of the meal, Chef Onil Chibas who'll serve as sous chef, Morning Edition's Steve Julian, and Steve's wife Felicia, a seasoned cook and flavor-meister.
Russ Parsons has been writing about food for more than 25 years, including more than 20 years at The Times. He is the author of the cookbooks “How to Read a French Fry” and “How to Pick a Peach.” In 2008, he was inducted into the James Beard Foundation’s Who’s Who of Food and Beverage, the hall of fame of American cooking.
Chef Onil Chibas, a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, opened Elements Kitchen in Pasadena in 2005 and several years later, opened a fine dining version of Elements at the Pasadena Playhouse. He’s since started a boutique version of Elements named ONIL CHIBÁS EVENTS, which specializes in more intimate gatherings and event planning.
This promises to be a phenomenal evening with incredible food and wine, fascinating conversation, and captivating company.
