Item Description
Win this 2 bottle lot of La Follette wine.
- La Follette 2013 Pinot Noir, North Coast: A complex and beguiling bouquet of fresh strawberry, vanilla pod and wild mushroom. The smooth entry leads to delicate red fruit flavors framed by soft tannins and savory notes. Balanced by acidity on the late-palate, the long finish is punctuated by a subtle earthiness. Overall, a complete and palate-pleasing rendition of coastal Pinot Noir.
- La Follette 2013 Pinot Meunier, Van Der Kamp Vineyard, Sonoma Mountain: A charming bouquet of wild strawberry, forest floor and sarsaparilla. Hints of brush and truffle are characteristic of this whole cluster fermentation. Peppercorn and star anise spiciness are complimented by refreshing acidity. Autumnal notes of cranberry fruit and forest floor. La Follette's smallest bottling, this rare wine is vibrant and versatile in its youth and will complex with bottle age. Delicate, yet ebullient..
