Bring a guest and join 2014 Cooking for Solutions Educator of the Year Chef John Ash for an insider’s view of Sonoma County, the place where Wine Country Cuisine was born and that has inspired his culinary creations for decades. Arrive Friday afternoon at Vintners Inn in Sonoma County, set on 92 acres of lush vineyards and beautifully landscaped grounds. Then, enjoy dinner at one of Chef Ash’s favorite restaurant in Santa Rosa, Bistro 29, a delightful small bistro specializing in foods from the Finistere region of France. On Saturday, Chef Ash will greet you at the Sonoma County Airport for a hot air balloon ride. Upon landing, Chef Ash will take you on an immersive exploration of the locavore movement in the county.  With hundreds of farms, farm stands and tours to choose from, you’ll spend the day learning about the rich interactive way that Sonoma County supports sustainable agricultural diversity - a template that has inspired many communities across the country and around the world. You’ll end the day with dinner for two at the legendary restaurant, John Ash & Company. On Sunday you and your guest will indulge in the Vintners Inn Signature Spa Massages.
