Item Special Note
Frederick’s Pastries has been New England’s premier cake specialty shop for 33 years. Frederick and his wife Gloria Lozier established Frederick’s Pastries in 1980 in Nashua, NH. Fred built his reputation as a pastry chef at the University of Maine, St. Francis College in Biddeford, and a number of summer resorts on the Maine coast. He has also taught at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y., Johnson and Wales College in Providence, R.I. and Nashua High School.
In 2004, Fred and Gloria’s youngest daughter, Susan Lozier Robert
purchased Frederick’s Pastries from her parents. For Susan, running this family owned business was her delicious destiny. Susan was 8 years old when Frederick’s started in her family’s garage in Nashua, NH and because pastries is in her DNA running and growing Frederick’s Pastries is her providence. Susan’s energy and enthusiasm is everywhere in the bakery, whether it is decorating cakes, overseeing baking or greeting customers.
Susan has developed an incredible staff of professionals and has since
opened a second location in July 2007 in Bedford, NH and a third location in November 2010 in North Andover, MA.
