Please give what you can. We're a community. Every voice, every child, and every dollar is a part of the greater whole.

As Clinton expands, we intend to hold fast to our culture and tradition of excellence. This means retaining what works—such as our deep and rigorous study of our core subjects under the guidance of our passionate and engaged teachers—along with embracing what's new to help support and enhance our mission.

With Chrome Books, our teachers and students can harness the wealth of added learning space, powerful wi-fi, and new classes and programs at our Union Square Campus.

Our new physical building, along with our transition to a 6-12 school, offers new opportunities. Our principal, Jon Levin, hasn't just been thinking in terms of next year: He's been asking the question, "What will middle and high-school learning look like 10 years from now? Twenty?"

Computer labs are a thing of the past. Students and teachers are taking advantage of portable technology in order to execute on-the-spot research and foster collaborative group projects ranging from visual arts presentations to computer science.

At $300 each, Chrome Books are the most economical way to put computers into the hands of the most students, at the most times. With your help, each floor will host one or more "Chrome Book Carts" that can be accessed and shared by our teaching professionals and learners. Without enough computers, teachers find it harder to plan lessons that can be elevated by the use of technology. The faster we build our supply, the more freedom they have to help all of our children learn more and reach their potential.

Principal Levin says, "We're called 'The Clinton School for Writers and Artists,' but we could just as easily be called 'The Clinton School for Writers and Artists and Mathematicians, Biologists, Athletes, and Computer Scientists.'

Computers in the hands of every Clintonian will go a long way toward ensuring that our graduates enter these fields, make an impact, and change the world.

Thank you.
