Item Description

Perhaps the most “famous” eating spot in the Granite State, the Red
Arrow diner – in its original spot on Lowell Street in Manchester as well as Londonderry and Milford – offers great food at great prices 24-hours a day. The diner tops just about every reader’s poll as the best diner around. Its food, service and atmosphere date back to nostalgic times.

The Red Arrow Diner first opened its doors in Manchester, NH back in
1922.  At one point in time, there were a total of five Red Arrow locations throughout the city. The local diner is often the focal point of the community, and the Red Arrow is certainly no different. The diner has always been on the cutting edge in the diner area. In May of '98 they went 'smoke-free', virtually unheard of in the diner business. In September of 1998, the Red Arrow was named one of the top ten diners in the country' by USA Today. People travel from all over the world to visit. In 2000 the Red Arrow Diner was named a Manchester, NH City Landmark.

Item Special Note

The Red Arrow has undergone many transformations since the early days, but one thing will never change... and that is keeping up the quality and consistency that The Lamontagne's began back in 1922. The staff continually strives each and every day to provide the very best the Red Arrow 24 Hr. Diner has to offer!

By sticking to the simple formula of good food, low prices, courteous
service, and clean atmosphere, the Red Arrow packs 'em in." says Randy Garbin of Roadside Magazine in regards to one of his personal favorites. The 24-hour diner in downtown Manchester, recently went smoke-free and is enjoying a booming business as a result. "The excellent food helps too."
Garbin recommends the breakfast chili omelet, "an unusual concoction, but
grilled without a hint of browning." And don't miss the pies, especially
the "splendid brownie cream pie and soul-satisfying coconut
cream."
