Item Description
Title & Artist: "Cod of Silence" – by Ana Curtin
Medium & Size: Acrylic on wood. 21 7/8" L x 8 5/8" H x 3/4" D. For indoor display only.
Artist Statement: I am honored to have been invited to participate in this year’s Marblehead Festival of Arts codfish auction. My codfish was inspired by my love for the movie The Graduate.
Artist Biography: I am a life-long resident of Marblehead with a passion for the arts and music. I am still exploring a wide array of media; however, I tend to favor acrylics and pencil. I was awarded a Gold Key in the Boston Globe/School of the Museum of Fine Arts Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and Friends of the Marblehead Public Schools solicited me to create the cover art for its 2015 Summer Soiree invitation. My artwork won a place in this year’s Boston Calling Music Festival.
Hosting Business: "Cod of Silence" is on display at Madam Had’em, 7 Pleasant St., Marblehead, MA.
