Item Description
Series of 4 notes (10,20,50 and 100 Marks) issued by the Allies in occupied Germany shortly after the end of World War II.
Item Special Note
These notes,for use by the German population, replaced the former German Reichsmark that had become worthless.They were themselves replaced a few years later by the currencies issued by the West- and East German authorities. These notes are now relatively rare.
